Artichokes

Local artichokes are smaller than the big imported ones at the supermarket, but they are very tender and delicious. Prepping artichokes for cooking does take some time, as you’ll have to cut off the spiky tips and trim the globes, but it is so worth it. My preferred way of cooking artichokes is by steaming them, but you can also bake or roast them; see recipe suggestions below!

How to Store:

Store unwashed in the fridge in a plastic bag or sealed container for 1-2 weeks.
