Green Onions/Scallions

How to Store:

Store in a loosely sealed bag or container, or wrapped in a cloth in the crisper drawer, in your fridge for up to a week.

Recipe Suggestions:

Green Onions (also called scallions/bunching onions) have a mild onion flavour and can be used raw or cooked. You can use both the white and green parts, though the white parts have a stronger onion flavour and the green parts taste more like chives. You can slice thinly to add as a garnish, make sauces, add to stir-fries, or cook the whole plant by roasting in a pan with oil on medium-high heat until crispy (a great topping for noodle bowls).
