Turnips

How to Store:

If your turnips come with the greens on them, cut them off and store them separately in a plastic bag/container. The roots can be stored in your crisper drawer and should last several weeks.

Recipe Suggestions:

We grow a white Japanese variety of turnips called ‘Hakurei Turnips’, They are sweet and fruity and the texture is juicy and tender. Try them as a snack with hummus, added to a salad, or cooked. The tops may be eaten raw or lightly cooked.
